1. Scope, Conclusion of Contract
1.1 Lasertron provides its services exclusively on the basis of the following General Terms and Conditions (GTC).
The GTC are available in written form at the checkout counter and may be inspected at any time upon request.
1.2 Any terms and conditions of the customer will not be accepted, even if known to us, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing in an individual case. No further objection by the company to the customer's terms and conditions is required.
1.3 Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions or of the contracts concluded on their basis.
1.4 The company's offers are subject to change and non-binding.
2. Cancellation & Rescheduling
2.1 In order to ensure a smooth course of play and enable all customers to start their games on time, it is essential that the customer arrives at the agreed time. Each player is responsible for their own travel and timely arrival. Customers are required to arrive at the company's premises 20 minutes before their booked appointment. Please note that time slots are reserved separately for each group and the room is prepared accordingly. Any time by which the group/person arrives late will be deducted from the 30-minute countdown.
2.2 An appointment may be cancelled up to 48 hours before the start of play. Special conditions and group bookings are subject to separate cancellation terms.
2.3 An appointment may be rescheduled once, free of charge, up to 24 hours before the appointment. Once an appointment has been rescheduled, it can no longer be cancelled!
2.4 In the event of a no-show for a booked or paid appointment, the full booking amount becomes due. No replacement appointment will be offered.
2.5 Cancellations and rescheduling requests may only be made in writing, by post or email.
3. Prices
3.1 Prices for participation in the games can be viewed online. Prices are quoted per person and include VAT and other statutory charges at the legally prescribed rate.
3.2 The prices valid on the day of booking shall apply in each case.
4. Payment
4.1 Payment must be made on-site, either in cash or by card (debit card, credit card), or via the online services we offer. Payment by invoice for business-related transactions is only possible by express agreement.
4.2 In the case of payment by invoice, the outstanding amount is due for payment immediately upon receipt of the invoice and without deduction, unless special payment terms have been agreed in writing in an individual case.
5. Terms of Use
5.1 The scope of the services to be provided is set out in the service description.
5.2 The use of cameras, digital cameras, video recorders, DVD recorders, and similar image or sound recording devices by game participants is prohibited for the duration of the game. Any video or photo recordings taken inside the game rooms without express permission are prohibited. Game participants are required to hand in such devices before entering the arena and to collect them after leaving the game room. Devices not collected within three days of the day of the session will be handed over to the lost-property office.
5.3 All exploitation rights (rights of use of the work), regardless of their legal basis, are expressly reserved for the company.
5.4 The company reserves the right to offer the premises and services provided as a facility that is not open to the public. Game participants are required to book an appointment for a game in the desired premises via the online booking system. It is not permitted to enter the individual premises outside of booked appointments or without a prior online booking.
5.5 Children between the ages of 7 and 12 may only take part in the game accompanied by a trusted adult. The accompanying adult may, however, remain in the waiting area. When a group of children visits, the person responsible must be identified as such. The accompanying person is responsible for supervising the children and, in particular, for ensuring their safety.
5.6 Anyone who harasses other visitors, fails to comply with the instructions of supervisory staff or posted signs, or otherwise significantly and disruptively interferes with ongoing operations may be removed from the game rooms without any entitlement to a refund of the game price.
5.7 Participation in the games is prohibited for persons under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other psychoactive substances, as well as for persons suffering from a serious condition such as epilepsy, cardiovascular disease, claustrophobia, panic attacks, or discomfort in dark spaces, or for persons who fear that their condition could worsen within the facility (which includes some confined spaces).
5.8 Smoking and the handling of open flames, as well as carrying dangerous objects (e.g. bladed weapons, firearms, etc.) capable of causing bodily harm or death, are strictly prohibited.
5.9 The customer is liable for damages pursuant to Sections 1295 et seq. of the Austrian General Civil Code (ABGB) for any damage caused, to the extent provided by law.
5.10 Any theft or attempted theft will be reported to the authorities, and a processing fee of EUR 250 will be charged.
5.11 Bringing food and beverages into the game rooms is not permitted.
6. Liability
6.1 In the event of damage or failure to comply with the house rules — whether intentional or through simple non-compliance with the rules of conduct or staff instructions — the visitor is obliged to provide full compensation for the damage caused and will be banned with immediate effect. The company reserves the right to take appropriate legal action.
7. Data Protection
7.1 The provisions of the GDPR and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG), as amended by the 2018 Data Protection Adaptation Act and the 2018 Data Protection Deregulation Act, shall apply.
7.2 For security reasons, the games are monitored by video surveillance so that action can be taken immediately in the event of danger.
8. Applicable Law
8.1 The contract and all mutual rights, obligations, and claims arising from it between the company and the customer are governed by Austrian law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
9. Place of Performance
9.1 The place of performance is the registered seat of the company.
9.2 Where designations referring to natural persons are used in this contract in the masculine form only, they refer equally to women and men.
